My brother-in-law Michael is an artist who creates very interesting sculpture in bronze and pewter. He is currently working in pewter and I had a chance to photograph him at work creating pieces for an art show. Here’s a link to view some of his recent work.
Michael and my sister-in-law Peggy are the creators of and vision behind Windhook. As I was processing this image, I noticed an interesting design had formed naturally in the molten pewter Michael was working with. There was the Windhook logo (upside-down from my perspective, but right-side up from Michael’s). Just another one of those “strange coincidences in nature” I guess.

Like the contrasts and the dark colors – very striking.
Also, the National Wildlife Federation has a photo contest and I think you’ve got photos that would be great to enter. You can check it out at http://www.nwf.org/nwmpphototcontest.
Thanks, I’ll check it out.
Very cool!
Thank you. Always glad you like it.
