I got some very nice comments about the black & white architectural photos I posted recently of the steel construction at a friend’s house in Carmel. My goal in those images was to give the viewer a strong sense of the steel construction being used. I used Photoshop to remove distractions like utility wires and the outhouse. The image below has a before and after slider so you can see what took several hours to remove the distractions. Move the handle left and right to see the before and after images.

Merci Nydia…
Very meticulous work and the slider is a wonderful device to show it off.
I can well imagine the work involved, not my favorite part of retouching.
Beautifully accomplished!
Thank you Robin.

Thanks Martin.
Nice work! I think I might have left the big ladder in the middle going to heaven!
Thanks Lee…
That is so incredibly cool to see how much you were able to improve that imagine and remove those items. What a talent! You must have great patience to work through each of those items. I would love to see how you do that next visit!!
It does get tedious, but it’s worth the effort when I finish. I’ll give you a demo next visit.
Ok, I want that slider for Christmas!
Me too.
Very interesting !
Thank you Elisabete.
