This is a Burchell’s Zebra on the Masai Mara in Kenya. The photo was taken with a Canon EOS 40D, EF70-200mm f/4L IS lens + 1.4x tele-extender, 1/250 sec at f/8, ISO 200 on SanDisk Extreme IV Digital Film.

I would’ve called it “Hey, do these horizontal stripes make my butt look too big?” but I love the photo.
Incredible. I can’t believe how close up it is. Also how well you capture each animal mid thought. Or so it seems. Love it.
